All About Me

"Your photos deserve a place on your wall and in your life"

I am a Mom to a little ball of energy named Ethan.  He's 8 years old! I love Cake! I have a Frenchie named Blaze & my favorite color is purple. I love makeup & my favorite perfume is Dolce & Gabana Light Blue. My favorite food is Vietnamese Pho. My favorite flowers are Gerber Daisy's.

As your local Central PA photographer located near Camp Hill PA I have always felt that photography was my calling.  I loved capturing all of my adventures traveling to Texas to visit family, my friends, important talent shows & birthday parties.  I always came home and had the photos printed right away so I could insert them into my newest photo album. (I still have ALL of them today!)

I have a degree in Photography & I have 20+ years of experience in photographing memories.  I have full time job with the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. I am current on all clearances including, Child Abuse, and Federal & Criminal background checks.

I specialize as a Harrisburg Area Photographer who focuses on photographing outdoor Photography Sessions including: High School Senior Portraits,  Family Photography, Maternity Photography, and Children’s Portraits.

I have a heartfelt passion for photography and connecting with people in all walks of life and I am honored that you have chosen me to share these beautiful moments with you and your growing families.

FAQs

  • You will want to schedule around 2 to 3 months prior, however my June-October sessions are often full 4-5 months in advance. Additionally, I like to schedule a consultation a month or two ahead of your photo session. I will guide you on wardrobe, answer any questions you have and remind you not to forget to arrange your hair and makeup appointments!

  • I have a curated list of fabulous outdoor spaces in my back pocket. If you have a specific look you are going for in your photos and have a place in mind that’s great! If not, I am always here to help guide you. I can provide examples of my work in each location as well upon request. For my most recent work please check out my Instagram page!

  • The most important thing to remember is NOT to be “matchy, matchy” - in other words it is best to dress everyone in different outfits that have coordinating pops of color from each others attire. Pick a color theme and look around. Have fun with it! If you get stuck I can always send you some ideas.

  • There are no shortcuts to creating a beautiful portrait. In addition to the bright and clean edit my clients come to expect from me, your images will also be carefully retouched. This means that any day-of-the-session skin concerns will be corrected before you even remember they were there. Your images will be available to view in an online proofing gallery 1-2 weeks after your portrait session.

What To Expect From Start to Finish

Digitals are included with every package!

But… LET me challenge you to think.. what do you want to do with your Digitals?

I truly believe that the best place for your portraits is beautifully printed on the highest quality materials for you to display in your home and enjoy every day, not sitting on hard drive and forgotten.

The Custom Portrait Photographer Experience Let me guide you…

One of the things I love about being a Camp Hill photographer is helping families not only capture memories, but preserve them — and preservation means PRINTING YOUR PHOTOS.

I understand that sometimes it can be overwhelming to pick out what will work best for your home, gifts for relatives, or an album, so I am there to help you figure out what will work best for you. My favorite part of working with you is getting to see your reaction in person when you see their images for the first time.

I am with you to help you prepare for a stress free photo session — if you have a question that isn’t answered, as always, feel free to get in touch!

When do we get to see our Photos?

  • Your images will be available to view in an online proofing gallery which

  • I will email the link to you 1-2 weeks after your portrait session (could be sooner).

Do I need to do anything to prepare?

When hiring Tisha as your photographer, the most helpful thing you can do to prepare is to think about what you might want to do with your images — generally each client picks their heirloom piece(s) of wall art, album (or both), and then picks their add-ons (gifts for relatives, smaller prints for the office, digital files, etc).  If you have a good idea of what you might want to do with the images at the start of the Viewing session, it will help streamline the process. I highly encourage you to take the time to make a list of relatives you want to get prints for before our meeting that way you don’t forget anyone!

What happens at the Viewing & Ordering session?

The Viewing & Ordering session takes place at the studio. I’ll have samples of all of the different kinds of print products I offer (mounted wall art, canvas galleries, albums, display boxes, etc). We’ll sit down, and I’ll show you all the final images from your portrait session in a slideshow — this gives you a good overview of the session.

At this point, don’t worry too much about specifics — just sit back and relax and enjoy! After the slideshow, we’ll talk about your initial thoughts — what would you like to do with these images? If you have a clear idea of what you’re interested in, we can then go through the images one by one with that in mind — go through once to pick your wall art, another time to pick your gift prints for Grandma, etc. If you’re not sure yet, that’s fine too! We’ll go through and put the images into one of three “buckets” — Yes, No, Maybe.

Once we have the initial sort done, we can then see how many images we’re looking at and talk about what might make the most sense to do with them, and do further sorting from there. Once you’ve picked your products and images, I’ll go over what we’ve discussed to make sure I’ve gotten it down just as you want it, and then I’ll put together your order form —  when all that is done, you will pay for your images (check, cash, or credit card) to finalize the order.

Who should attend the Viewing & Ordering Session?

All of the  financial decision-makers should attend — usually this means both spouses, but each family has their own way of doing things, and if you are comfortable with one person making these decisions on their own, that is your prerogative. Generally it’s easiest to have this meeting without children present, especially very young children, but as a mom myself I absolutely understand if you need to bring them — if you can, please bring a favorite toy or two, or let me know if you allow your child screen time and I can set up something to keep them occupied while we talk.
